How do I make a reservation?
Our reservation line, 970-223-1805, is available Monday-Saturday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. In addition, our online
booking is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you do make a reservation online a vacation specialist
will contact you to confirm and finalize your rental with in 48 hours. The reservation is not final until approved
by agent. Once approved, the reservation is subject to all terms, conditions and policies.
What is your payment policy?
A deposit of 50% of the total price is required at the time of reservation. Final payment is due 60 days prior to
arrival. Your encrypted credit card on file will be charged when the balance payment is due. **Exception:
Reservations made within 60 days of arrival must be paid in full by credit card at the time of booking and all
monies paid are non-refundable at that time. We do offer travel insurance for your consideration.
What if I need to cancel my reservation?
Unplanned events often arise altering our travel plans. Here at SCVR we do offer Travel Insurance through Travel
Guard for 7% of your total reservation total. Contact us for details. If you choose not to purchase travel
insurance, refunds will be made only if the property is re-rented for the entire stay. Refunds will be less 15% of
the full rental amount. No processing fees, if any, will be refunded. If not re-rented, you are responsible for
the entire rental amount. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival will result in a forfeiture of full contracted
amount.
No refunds will be given for late check-ins, early check-outs or no-shows.
Are refunds available in the case of inclement weather?
If you purchase Travel Insurance, yes. If not, no refunds will be given for cancellation or interruption due to
weather.
What are your check-in and check-out times?
CHECK-IN time is after 4 p.m. CHECK-OUT time is by 10:00 a.m. Each of our rental guests must agree to scheduled
arrival and departure at stated times. DO NOT go to the property before checking in with our office. If cars or
people are seen at the property, it will delay its cleaning and inspection, and thereby, delay the check-in time.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT LOCATION for CONDOS ONLY - Ski Colorado Vacation Rentals located at 160 E Adams Suite A
Breckenridge, CO 80424 in the Adams Ridge Center. A late check-in box is located next to the office where a
package with guest's name on it is waiting with keys to the condo as well as a parking pass, if paid for.
Are security deposits required?
A Security Deposit is required for all rentals. In lieu of a CASH deposit, an accepted credit card will be
acceptable. Guest acknowledges Agent's authority to charge their credit card for damages to property rented by
guest and/or their family and/or guest(s). You are responsible for any damage to the property during your stay.
Your liability is not limited to the security deposit. Deposits will be returned 10-14 days after departure.
How should I leave the property?
Although a cleaner comes before you arrive and after you leave to ensure the property is clean, you are responsible
for leaving the property in the condition you received it in. You are renting some one's home and your should
leave it the way you would want your own left. Excess cleaning, if needed, will be held from your security
deposit.
Are 4 wheel drive vehicles required?
For our condos and Silverthorne townhomes, it is not required to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle to access unless
there is extreme weather while trying to arrive via I-70 or other highway. Our Breckenridge homes do require a 4
wheel drive vehicle to access them.
Is there a charge for extra keys?
You will be provided with a set of magnetic keys (for condos) to your rental property. We are available 24 hours
a day on our emergency extension should you get locked out of your property. A re-key charge will be collected
for lost or un-returned keys.
Are telephones available?
Since so many people have cell phones, and tenants usually have 2 or more with them, a lot of owners have
eliminated land lines in their properties. Some properties have phones, some properties do not. We do not
guarantee phones will be available and do not have the numbers of properties that may provide them.
What about maid service?
Homes are cleaned before your arrival and after your departure. Daily maid service or interim cleaning is
available at an additional charge.
Who supplies linens?
Rental properties are furnished with clean linens on all beds and bath towels.
What supplies are included in the rental?
For your convenience, properties are equipped with kitchenware and supplies for everyday cooking and a STARTER
SUPPLY of paper towels, and toilet paper.
What items should we bring?
Skis, snowboards, gloves, and any other fun toys you can think of!
What about grilling?
Most homes have grills (check descriptions). Tenants are responsible for charcoal or gas if needed.
What about house parties or noise complaints?
Rental Guest understands that we will accept families, married couples and responsible adults. You certify that
you have read carefully the limitations placed on the number of persons permitted to occupy the premises, and
agree to abide by such limitations: if not, you will be asked to leave with no refund. Any complaints will be
dealt with on an individual basis.
Any use of the rental property for a purpose other than residential use for a family vacation must be approved by
the Agent. A request must be submitted before arrival for use for any event such as weddings, receptions, family
reunions or other large gatherings. If the event is approved, the Guest may be required to pay an additional
deposit to be determined by the Agent and abide by Agent's determination on the requested event. The Agent
reserves the right to cancel your rental reservation and occupancy of rental with no refund if Guest misrepresents
an event.
Are pets allowed?
Certain properties do allow pets (check descriptions). For those properties that do not allow them, if pets are
found in or on the property we reserve the right to cancel your reservation, forfeiting deposit and occupancy of
the rental unit plus a $200 charge.
If you are allowed to bring your pet please follow these guidelines:
Please make sure that you clean up after your pet in and around your home and dispose of the waste properly.
Any and all damage caused and the resulting charges, i.e. carpet stains, wall damage, pet hair removal,
etc will be the responsibility of the tenant.
Please respect the property and its surroundings so that we may continue to offer properties that allow our 4 legged friends!
Smoking
There is no smoking inside any property. Unauthorized smoking is grounds for eviction without refund and/ or
security deposit forfeiture.
Sales
Some of the houses we manage may be available for sale during your stay. If you are staying in a property that is
for sale, every effort will be made to schedule showings on a turnover day so as not to intrude on your vacation.
Should a request be made to see the property during your stay, you will be contacted in advance by our property
management staff, but the final decision is yours.
